Costa Rica

For the month of April 2004, I spent my time in Costa Rica doing an intensive spanish immersion course geared towards medical Spanish.  I didn't really have any Spanish going into this course, except for some travel Spanish tapes and a college Spanish course that I took as an audit (i.e. I never went to class).  So it was quite intense, and I feel a little more comfortable speaking to my patients in Spanish.

The best part of this program was that I was able to travel on the weekends, and went to some beautiful places.  So here's a little photo documentary of my trip.  I met some great people who are going to make wonderful, bilingual physicians, and made some great traveling and studying buddies.

Check it out.
